Bible Promises from the Word of God for All of Our Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

These are the scriptures that we claim for each of our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You can pray these Bible Promises over your family as well.

Genesis 9:9 (KJV):  “And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;”

Genesis 17:7 (KJV): “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.”

Genesis 17:7 (AMP):  “And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting, solemn pledge, to be a God to you and to your posterity after you.”

Genesis 22:18 (KJV):  “And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

Deuteronomy 1:8 (KJV):  “Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.”

Deuteronomy 10:15 (AMP):  “Yet the Lord had a delight in loving your fathers, and He chose their descendants after them, you above all peoples, as it is this day.”

Exodus 20:12 (KJV):  “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”

Deuteronomy 11:9 (AMP):  “And that you may live long in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.”

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (KJV):  “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:  And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

Deuteronomy 30:6 (AMP):  “And the Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with all your being, that you may live.”

Psalm 37:25-26 (AMP):  “I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread. All day long they are merciful {and} deal graciously; they lend, and their offspring are blessed.”

Psalm 37:26 (KJV):  “He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.”

Psalm 112:2 (KJV):   “His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.”

Proverbs 11:21b (KJV): “…. the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.”

1 John 4:4 (KJV): “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Proverbs 20:7 (KJV):  “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.”

1 John 2:28 (KJV):  “And now, little children, abide in him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.”

Isaiah 65:23 (AMP): “They shall not labor in vain or bring forth [children] for sudden terror {or} calamity; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.

Isaiah 59:21 (KJV):  “As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.”

Isaiah 61:9 (KJV):  “And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.”

Joshua 24:15 (KJV): “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; …. but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

1 John 2:1 (KJV):  “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:”

Joel 1:3 (KJV):  “Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.”

Isaiah 66:22 (KJV):  “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.”
